Republika Unita is a movement for diaspora unity, political awareness, and cultural preservation.

Republika Unita's Ideology

After witnessing 35 years of so-called democracy in Albania, we must recognize that the system has failed to deliver the development, prosperity, justice, and Western integration that the Albanian people were promised. Instead, citizens have repeatedly faced empty promises, abandoned development projects, misuse of public funds, corrupt contracts, manipulated public bidding, and a political class that has placed personal interests above the needs and sovereignty of the country. A government serving its fourth mandate, after more than 12 years in power, has reached its political finish line and must be replaced through lawful and democratic means.

Supporting Rural Communities, Families, and Vulnerable Citizens

Republika Unita believes that every level of Albanian society deserves attention, protection, and a fair opportunity to improve its quality of life. Rural communities face some of the most difficult living conditions, with many areas lacking reliable roads, bridges, electricity, water systems, public transportation, distribution networks, healthcare, and economic opportunities. These shortages continue to empty villages and increase migration among young people and working-age citizens, including many under the age of 40. A responsible government must inspect every rural community, prepare accurate reports, and assign qualified specialists to address urgent infrastructure and financial challenges.

A New Political Direction for Albania

Republika Unita believes Albania needs a new conservative political direction based on integrity, responsibility, public service, accountability, and respect for the sovereign will of the people. The new government must break away from the culture of corruption, political intimidation, and empty promises, while creating a system in which leaders are held responsible for their decisions. Our objective is to build a state where citizens can live freely, institutions serve the public, and the government prioritizes real national interests over political and personal gain.

Fighting Corruption and Restoring Justice

Republika Unita considers transparency, institutional vetting, and the recovery of misappropriated public wealth essential to rebuilding Albania. For decades, politicians, former ministers, public officials, family members, and connected oligarchs have allegedly benefited from government funds, tax evasion, shell companies, foreign investments, properties, hotels, factories, offshore accounts, and other questionable financial schemes. All former and current politicians, ministers, senior officials, judges, prosecutors, commission members, and associated oligarchs should therefore be subject to an independent and lawful vetting process. Any assets proven through due process to have been obtained through corruption or the misuse of public funds should be frozen, confiscated, and returned to the national treasury.

Protecting National Resources, Education, Land, and Sovereignty

Albania’s oil, minerals, mines, land, and other natural resources must serve the national economy rather than enriching a small group of politically connected individuals. Resource agreements, concessions, exports, revenues, and ownership structures must be transparent, while the country should develop industries that transform natural resources into valuable products, create jobs, and strengthen the economy. Investment in education must begin in early childhood and continue through adulthood so that Albania can develop qualified professionals, expand new sectors, reduce migration, and improve the overall quality of life. Long-standing land disputes originating from the changes of 1992 must also be resolved through an independent commission free from political and local-government pressure. Lawful owners should receive their land back or receive fair compensation. Republika Unita believes Albanian land must remain protected in the national interest. Foreign nationals seeking the right to own land should first meet clearly established legal requirements, including long-term residence and Albanian citizenship, while existing foreign ownership should be reviewed through a fair and lawful process. We will work alongside citizens and qualified professionals who uphold integrity, justice, accountability, national dignity, and respect for Albania’s sovereignty.
